Hey guys, I was wearing my Dominican shirt yesterday while running errands and this little old lady came up to me and was so interested in my shirt and wanted to know what we would be doing while we were there. I talked to her for about 15 minutes, and she told a story about her son who went on a missions trip a few years back. She is so proud of him, and she was so proud not only for me, but the entire group. She was amazed at how young people these days are changing so many lives. She wished us luck on our journey and all the best with our futures.
Just thought I would share this happy little story. Even though I may never see her again, she helped open my eyes and made me realize how much of an impact were already making, and how much of an impact we can make....even after we return from this incredible experience!

Names to faces
Hey guys!
Last night's meeting was awesome! I am actually starting to put names to faces, this is an incredible opportunity for us to get to know each other more! We will be spending lots of time together! I have already started the countdown until we leave, It really doesn't seem that far away! 3 months and 8 days - we have a lot of work to do before then! Good luck and happy fundraising :)

A BIG First Week
A really exciting week for ASB! This traveller was able to renew her passport in eleven minutes, gather some helpful news about drafting a fundraising letter and received my FIRST donation to the tune of $150!
I am very blessed to be a part of this. Thank you to all supporters who make this possible.
Cheers,
E
